So you want to make a Dry Bag...

Dry Bags are one of the easiest outdoor gear projects because it requires little sewing knowledge. It actually requires very little actual sewing because the fabric is heat sealed instead of sewed!

Materials List:

2/3 yards	Heat Sealable Fabric (get some extra material to have some to experiment with)
2 yards	1" Polypro Webbing (nylon webbing will work but it tends to wick more moisture into the bag's closure)
1 each	1" Side Release Buckle
1/2 yard	1" Velcro (both hook and loop sides)
1	#16 Sewing Machine Needles

Heat Sealable Taffeta
70 Denier 4.3 oz/sq yd. Heat sealable like the pack cloth and oxford, but this is super light weight. Useful for applications where weight is a factor, but a high degree of water resistance is necessary.
