100% Polyester, 16 oz per linear yard. Similar to the Tech Fleece 200 fleece in that it also has an anti pill velour face and water resistant finish, but this fabric is heavier and denser. Regulator (Waffle) Fleece

Gore WindStopper Fleece 
Lightweight  fleece, a windproof membrane and wicking mesh back makes this fabric wear like a light weight sweatshirt with the warmth of thick fleece material. This material is not water resistant, however you can treat it to be water resistant with Nixwax PolarProof.

Polartec 1000 Windbloc Fleece
A special barrier lets windblock fabrics maintain their insulation in windy conditions and remain breathable.  Withstands the equivalent of a 40 mph wind.  In addition, it is water resistant and the inner fleece or mesh has great wicking capabilities.

A new revolution in thermal fabrics allows you to forgo the use of a shell in all but the most extreme wet or windy conditions.
