Thinsulate Ultra was created for a very specific and demanding clientele:  those who demand extreme performance from their outerwear.  A mid-loft insulation, it is designed for some of the harshest conditions on earth and retains insulating value in damp conditions.  It's made with 55% polyester and 45% olefin and is both washable and dry cleanable.

Thinsulate™ Lite Loft Insulation
Thinsulate Lite Loft insulation is a unique insulation that provides a lot of warmth for very little weight.  A blend of polyester and polyolefin fine denier fibers.  Thinsulate Lite Loft insulation retains its insulating ability in damp conditions and it dries quickly and easily.  It is also hypo-allergenic and machine washable.  Now you can get superior, lightweight warmth in a high-loft insulation.  83% polyester, 17% polyolefin.  This is 3M's version of Primaloft or Polarguard 3D.
