#75 Shell Overmitts & Gloves
These are unlined weather shells for your gloves or mittens. Keeping the shells separate allows you to replace wet liners as needed or simply adjust the warmth of your under layers to suit the conditions. Unlike other overmitts that are flat and awkward, these are sculpted to fit the hand. The wrist strap and elasticized cord are easy to adjust one-handed. Section inside describes mating these shells to Controlled Exposure #45 Fleece Gloves using Velcro.

Fabrics To Use?
“Waterproof/Breathable” fabrics. These are coated or laminated fabrics. Choose one with a fairly rugged fabric on the outside such as heavy Supplex or Ltwt. Cordura. They can be either “2 or 3-layer” construction.
Waterproof/Not Breathable fabrics. These are usually coated with urethane. Coated Nylon Oxford and lightweight coated Cordura are examples. Water Resistant fabrics: Supplex, various Microfibers, uncoated Cordura.
Palm Fabric for both views: Flexible, “grippy”, durable and weather resistant fabric like Tough Tek

200 Denier Heavy Coated F/R Oxford - New!!!
4 oz per sq. yard 200 Denier. This is not your typical, lightly coated nylon oxford; in addition to being flame retardant, it has a super heavy 1-1/2 ounce flame retardant urethane coating! Giving its superior characteristics, this fabric is waterproof and perfect for applications where weight is critical with out moving up to a heavier fabric. 430 Denier Packcloth
7 oz. per sq yd.  This tough durable fabric has a polyurethane coating yet it remains flexible and easy to work with.  The polyurethane coating makes this fabric waterproof yet lightweight.  It is extremely abrasion resistant.

500 Denier Cordura
8 oz. per sq yd.  A very nice urethane coated fabric with a Cordura weave.  It is lighter than 1000D Cordura and heavier than 430D pack cloth.  This is the perfect fabric when you want a Cordura weave without the weight and stiffness of 1000D.   

Uses:  patches, gaiters, cases, packs, luggage, totes, duffel bags, soft-side luggage, camera cases, and musical instrument cases.

1000 Denier Cordura
11 oz. per sq yd.  A very heavy weight nylon with a urethane coating.  It has excellent tear strength and is very abrasion resistant.  This fabric is amazingly tough and versatile.
