DB-92 Polyester Thread  

A heavy weight continuous filament polyester thread that is bonded for fewer breaks and more consistent sewing.  This is the thread for sewing heavy bags, packs, awnings or marine applications.  Inherently UV and weather resistant, the DB-92 works great for outdoor applications.  Works well in most home machines but may be too large or cause tension or stitching problems in some.

 V46 and V69 Polyester Thread

V46 is typically used in machines that have trouble with heavier threads, without sacrificing too much strength. The V69 is slightly heavier and stronger than the V46 weight. Both have superior UV resistance and great strength, this thread works great with home machines and is suitable for sewing heavier materials like Sunbrella, WeatherMax, Surlast as well as other canvases and heavy synthetic fabrics.  This is the thread for sewing bags, packs, awnings or marine projects.  Inherently UV and weather resistant, this polyester thread works great for all outdoor applications.  We have chosen several colors of Sunbrella and have matched our V46 and V69 thread colors to them so your Awning/ Marine project will be finished with beautiful results.  Z46 and Z69, Nylon Thread

Z46 is typically used in machines that have trouble with heavier threads, without sacrificing too much strength. The Z69 is slightly heavier and stronger than the 46 weight. With UV resistance added to the dyeing process, this nylon thread hold up in outdoor applications almost as well as polyester and have superior strength.  It works great with home machines and is suitable for sewing heavier materials like Cordura Nylon, Ballistics Nylon, Sunbrella, WeatherMax, Surlast and other canvases and heavy synthetic fabrics.

Z46 Colors: Black, White, Red, Burnt Orange, Lemon Yellow, Emerald Green, Evergreen, Chestnut Brown, Gold Brown, Light Beige, Nickel Grey, Smoke Charcoal, Olive Drab, Neon Pink, Neon Orange, Neon Green  (Neon colors will fade faster than other colors)

 Gutermann Thread

Thanks to its balanced elasticity and recovery, Gutermann is perfect for sewing any kind of clothing fabric and light weight fabric like ripstop nylons and oxfords.  Each stitch is uniform and seams do not pucker, regardless of if the fabric is natural, synthetic, or a blend.  Gutermann is washable to 200°F, shrink resistant, iron resistant to 390°F, color fast and fade resistant.   Its abrasion resistance guarantees durable and long-lasting seams.  100% polyester.  Stocked in over 200 colors--if you don't find the one you want, email us at seattlefabrics@msn.com
