This flexible urethane formula is a waterproof and permanent seam sealer that is concentrated and only requires one application. Field Repair Kit
The essential field repair kit for all types of repairs including tents, sleeping pads, rainwear, backpacks, boots and more. Kit includes two adhesive backed clear Tenacious Brand pressure-sensitive patches, along with 1/4 ounce tube of Seam Grip Urethane Repair Adhesive & Sealant and brush.
DIRECTIONS

Important Surface Prep Information: Clean and dry area to be repaired. Oils, waxes on boots, sunblock and other residue may affect adhesion. Remove residue using Cotol-240, isopropyl alcohol or solvents such as acetone.
For Best Results: For professional-looking repairs use Seam Grip alone or Seam Grip with Cotol-240 Cure Accelerator to speed cure time to 2 hours. Repairs using a few drops of water (as described below) are substantially less aesthetic.
To Repair Holes in Self-Inflating Mattresses: Apply the minimum amount of Seam Grip to cover hole and spread ¼ inch (4mm) beyond. Allow to dry level 8 to 12 hours. TO USE PAD SOONER: Technique for small (dime-sized) repairs only. Mix a few drops of water into Seam Grip before applying to hole (or Cotol-240, see above). Apply mixture and allow to cure level for 30 minutes. Center patch and apply over Seam Grip. PATCH MUST EXTEND AT LEAST ½ INCH BEYOND SEAM GRIP AND BOND DIRECTLY AND SOLIDLY TO PAD FABRIC. This minimizes the possibility of Seam Grip seeping out from under patch. Allow patch to remain for 3-4 days, then remove. Seam Grip will create permanent repair.
To Seal Leaking Tent Seams: Seal seam inside tent when practical. Apply Seam Grip to wet or dry seam. Brush under fabric folds and into stitching. Seam should stop leaking immediately. Allow Seam Grip to cure 8 to 12 hours before packing tent. If tent must be used or packed sooner: Dry area, apply patches alone. Patches may be cut into several pieces for maximum coverage. Permanently repair with Seam Grip when convenient.
Holes and Tears in Tents and Clothing: Apply patch on outside of item to create removable backing. Apply Seam Grip to other side (interior) and allow to cure level 8 to 12 hours. To use item immediately, Dry damaged area, apply patches alone. Permanently repair damaged area with Seam Grip when convenient.
To Re-attach Boot and Shoe Soles: Clean bonding surfaces with Cotol-240, isopropyl alcohol or stronger solvent if possible. At minimum: clean with soapy water and remove all dust and dirt. Apply generous amount of Seam Grip to interior surfaces and spread with brush. Compress sole to upper. Remove excess with stick. Use patches or other method to hold sole in place 8 to 12 hours. TO USE BOOT SOONER: Mix a few drops of water into Seam Grip before pressing sole to upper. Follow remaining instructions above. Boot will be ready to use in approximately 2-3 hours.
To Re-attach Rands on Boots: Use solvent such as Cotol-240, acetone or isopropyl alcohol to remove waterproofing waxes and similar treatments on bonding surfaces. Buff area with brush to expose untreated leather. Apply Seam Grip and use peel and stick patch to draw rand closed against boot. Allow to cure 8 to 12 hours, remove patch.
To Seal or Repair Seams in Boots and Shoes: Clean bonding surfaces with isopropyl alcohol or similar solvent to remove waterproofing waxes. Apply Seam Grip. If necessary, use peel and stick patch to hold separated sections together. Allow to cure 8 to 12 hours. Remove patch.
To Repair Holes in Packs: Apply peel and stick patch to interior surface to create backing. Apply Seam Grip to exterior surface of hole and ¼ inch (4mm) beyond onto undamaged surface. Allow to cure 8 to 12 hours.
To Reinforce Damaged Pack Straps and Gaiter Underfoot Straps: Apply peel and stick patch to create backing. Apply Seam Grip fabric sealer to damaged area and ¼ inch beyond. Allow to cure 8 to 12 hours before use. Once cured, remove patch.

Tenacious Sealing and Repair Tape
For Instant Repairs! Tenacious Brand repair tape is ideal for fast in-field repairs on tents, tarps, rain gear, fishing gear and more. Our super aggressive adhesive sticks to almost any surface and can be used for a variety of flexible, long lasting repairs. Our non-gloss finish is almost invisible, eliminating the need to match colors on fabrics and other materials. This waterproof seam tape instantly seals leaking tears and pinholes, stops rips from spreading, and acts as an abrasion-resistant shield on high-wear areas. Can be used in conjunction with McNett Urethane Adhesives for ultra strong repairs. Includes one 3" x 20" (50cm x 7.5cm) strip of tape, 60 sq. inches (375 sq. cm).

Tenacious Sealing & Repair Tape stops rips from spreading and acts as abrasion resistance on high wear areas of garments and gear. Tenacious Sealing & Repair Tape can also be used in conjunction with McNett Urethane Adhesives for ultra strong repairs.
Provides fast, long lasting repairs on synthetic and natural fabrics, fleece, vinyl, rubber and plastic. Ideal for: tents, rain gear, tarps, wind wear, backpacks, gaiters, sleeping bags, gloves, stuff sacks, mats and pads, seats, awnings, soft coolers, tablecloths, PFD's, boat covers, inflatable toys, emergency bicycle tire repairs & more.
Adhesive Option: If more permanent repairs are desired. Tenacious Tape can be used with Seam Grip® or Aquaseal® Urethane Adhesives. If used in this manner, follow adhesive application instructions and overlap the adhesive with Tenacious Tape by at least 1 inch (25mm). Once adhesive is fully cured, the tape may be removed if desired.
Storage and Care: Store unused portion of tape in sealed plastic bag. Tenacious Tape is washable. Do not dry clean.

GORE-TEX® Fabric Repair Kit
The essential field repair kit for all types of repairs including tents, sleeping pads, rainwear, backpacks, boots and more. Kit includes two adhesive backed GORE-TEX® fabric pressure-sensitive patches. Ideal for GORE-TEX and WINDSTOPPER® Fabric. Available in Black, Navy, Green, Yellow, Tan, Navy Digital and Universital Camouflage. Two patches per kit, One 2" x 4" Rectangle, One 3" round patch.
REPAIR KIT INSTRUCTIONS

The patches supplied in this kit will provide a temporary water resistant repair for GORE-TEX® fabric products.
Patches should be kept in sealed plastic bag until used.
Area to be repaired must be clean and dry.
Patch will not adhere effectively to loose debris, grease or oil.
Patch should overlap tear by at least ½" in all directions.
Remove release paper from back of patch. Lay GORE™ product on a smooth flat surface and apply patch using finger pressure (adhesive side down). Rub patch surface in a circular motion from the center out covering the entire patch area.
Product can be used immediately; however, the adhesive will continue to strengthen over the next 12 to 24 hours.
The durability of the patch can be enhanced by applying heat and moderate pressure. Use a clean iron and set to medium heat. Press with moderate pressure in a circular motion for 30 seconds.

Melco Iron On Seam Tape

Industrial strength neoprene cement. Quickly repairs and cements neoprene with professional strength at home or in the field. Also may be used to repair and seal boots, gloves, fishing waders and hundreds of other rubber articles.

Aquaseal Urethane Repair Adhesive & Sealant for - Wet Suits or Waders
Aquaseal is made of urethane rubber for flexible repairs with hundreds of water sport and household uses. Repairs wet suits, dry suits, and all neoprene products, giving a permanent, flexible and waterproof repair for all types of waders and outdoor equipment. Fixes neoprene, rubber and coated fabric waders. Also waterproofs, seals and protects against abrasion.

Cotol-240
Better, faster gear repair through chemistry.
Cotol-240 does two things to make gear repair faster and better: It makes Gear Aid urethane adhesives dry faster. And it cleans fabrics and surfaces before the repair so urethane adhesives can create maximal bond. Use Cotol-240 with SeamGrip®, Aquaseal®, and Freesole®.

Works with SeamGrip, Aquaseal, and Freesole.
The solvent cleans and prepares the surface, readying it for Aquaseal® , speeding the tack time to 15 minutes and the full cure time to less than two hours. Cotol-240 is also ideal for removing tar, sap, glue, and other resins from various surfaces including glass, plastic and metal. Available in 1/2 oz. Blister Pack.

Wader Repair Kit
Ideal "take along" repair kit for quick repairs to waders in the field. Kit fits easily into fishing vests and includes two adhesive backed, Tenacious Brand pressure-sensitive patches along with 1/4 oz. tube of Aquaseal urethane adhesive and brush.
Aquaseal Wader Repair Kit
Directions For Use:

Prep: Clean and dry area to be repaired. Oil, waxes and other residue may affect adhesion. Roughen smooth surfaces.
Holes and Tears: For all waders: Turn fabric waders inside out. Neoprene waders may be repaired from either side. For nearly invisible repairs on tears, create backing with removable tape (cellophane tape). Fill void and 1/4 inch beyond with Aquaseal. Keep repair level. Remove tape after full cure *(see below).
Note: To accelerate dry time use Cotol-240™ Cure Accelerator (not included).
Patch Application: For fabric and breathable laminate waders: If desired, after applying Aquaseal, immediately apply patch over damaged area. Wipe any adhesive residue from edges. Item may be used immediately. See patch dry time (inside panel). Turn waders right side out. *A second patch may be applied over tape if desired.
High Wear Areas: Apply thin layer of Aquaseal as above and apply patch on fabric waders if desired.
Seams: Apply Aquaseal to inside of seam when practical. Apply thin film by holding tube opening flat against seam. Lightly squeeze and draw tube across threads. Aquaseal may also be applied with brush. Keep level until dry.
Aquaseal Dry Time: Wait 8 to 12 hours before use. In many cases, if patches are used to cover Aquaseal, waders may be used immediately. However, testing for water tightness is recommended before use. Check patches periodically for stability.
If used before recommended dry time, use caution to avoid contact with uncured Aquaseal during use or before folding or storage. Uncured Aquaseal may bond to clothing or other items.
Patch Dry Time: Reaches full strength in 24 hours. For best adhesion, apply heat from hair dryer at low setting for 2 to 3 minutes. Avoid fabric damage.
Clean-up & Storage: Clean hands with terrycloth soaked in solvent, paint thinner, acetone, etc. Read solvent precautionary statement prior to use. Advance tube contents to tube neck, wipe clean and cap. Store in a cool dry place or for extended life, place in freezer. For thawing or for easier flowing contents, soak tube in warm water for 15 minutes.

HH-66 Vinyl Cement
This is one of the best vinyl cements made. Creates a super strong flexible bond for vinyl coated and vinyl laminated fabrics. Highly resistant to temperature and weather extremes. Excellent for patching and sealing. Bond strength only increases with age. Use with vinyl products

S-18 All Purpose Cement
A high bond strength and high heat resistant neoprene rubber cement. Excellent sprayability and very fast drying. Best adhesive for marine carpets!

Canvas Seam Sealer
